Ice skating, Rollerskating, Dances, even Rock climbing (hopefully). International Day is Awesome and the GS 100th Birthday will be celebrated on March 10 @ many libraries.

- lscorpio my daughter is 14 and just joined the girl scouts after years of trying to find a troop. Now she is an individual member. Does anyone know what is available for a 14 year old to do?

Cy_Wong My daughter has been independent since since 6th grade. She likes to do the community service and some of the leadership programs. We look through the shore things and keep our ears open for local events. We are friendly with some troop leaders in the area so she is often invited to troop events when it fits her schedule.
- Lia P Gateway Church of Christ in Holmdel NJ is hosting our first annual Fall Festival on October 29, 2011 (1:00pm-5:00pm) at The Williamson Farm 19 Reids Hill Rd Morganville. We are looking for Older Girls who want to earn service hours to come and help us out. We need help with games and activities and in helping to make this a really fun day for the community. This is a free event and we expect to have a very large turn out so will need many helpers. We are also looking for troops who would like to participate in a scarecrow contest that will be open to scout troops only. Gateway will provide a Pumpkin for the head and hay for stuffing. Your troop will bring anything else to make your scarecrow great. You must have your scarecrow ready for judging by 1:30. Prizes will be awarded to troops for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! - troy Is anyone interested in joining an intergenerational project at Laurel Bay Rehabilitation Center in Keansburg? We are planning "Camp Laurel Bay" where scouts can come in once a month and interact with the residents. - sheskis63 Kindergarten Daisy Troop #24 out of St Aloysius in Jackson, NJ. Participated in the Belmar/Lake Como 2011 St Patrick's Day Parade. Despite the Irish type weather the girls endured and had a great time representing the GS of the Jersey Shore.
