For those who attended the January Regional Meeting, it was a great opportunity to Network with other leaders and get new ideas.  Also, at least 10 staff members attended to meet and support volunteers. • New and improved council/regional website was unveiled…coming soon!
• 100^th Anniversary – get involved in the Big Birthday Bash March 10^th at your Local library.

• Product Sales covered tips on selling…here is one.  Make sure your troop has a goal for the cookie sale proceeds.  It is proven that when girls set goals they achieve more! How about a goal to spend a week at Camp Amity Acres or Camp Sacajawea day camp this summer! 
• Membership Registrations – troops will be able to register online for the 12-13 membership year!  More info soon. 
• Awards and Recognitions – don’t forget to nominate your peers for the council and regional awards.  
• HUGS – Shore Pines region is tied with the Colonial region for most participation and in the running for the HUGS trophy this year.  Keep those donations coming in! 
• Leader Appreciation –During the month of March lawn signs reading “an awesome volunteer lives here”  Just $5 available at the Council Shops.
