The American Heart Association is looking for Girl Scouts (Juniors and above) to help out at their 2010 Shoreline Start! Heart Walk on Sunday, October 3 starting around 8:30 am.  Tasks include handing out water and food, as well as working in the kids area.

The Start! Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s flagship fund-raising event held in more than 400 communities nationwide. In its 19^th year, the Shoreline Start! Heart Walk encourages members of the community to increase physical activity in order to help lower risk factors that can lead to heart disease and stroke while raising vital funds to support cardiovascular research and education.
