Sunset Regional Awards

  • Follow the criteria given for each recognition in it's Regional Awards Booklet and make use of the quick reference form as necessary. These files and paper applications to be printed can be found at this link.
  • All nominations must be submitted with required endorsements.
  • March 1 is the deadline for regional recognitions to be in the council office. Any nomination received after March 1 will not be considered.

Endorsements

Many awards require endorsements. Please ensure that the nominee fulfills the award requirements before submitting their name for an award. Criteria can be found in the "Awards and Recognitions for Adult Girl Scouts" booklet.

Each person submitting an endorsement should do the following:

  1. Describe the service performed by the nominee.
  2. Explain how the nominee has delivered service above and beyond the expectations of the task(s) performed.
  3. List the impact and results of this person's actions, including specific examples of how their actions benefitted their audience.
